Bus Rider

The two little ones and I took a bus trip to the zoo the other day. Estella was quite excited to ride the bus. She anxiously looks out the window here to see the sites on our route. We played at Woodland Park Playground for a while. Estella ran around and climbed up the big toy to the slide. I toted Blaise around. He is excited to see all the kids and interesting sites.
We went to the north entrance of Woodland Park Zoo and just as we went in, it started raining. We went to the indoor exhibits first. To see the bats and the snakes and turtles and frogs. Blaise fell asleep in the night exhibit amongst the bats, while Estella just wanted to get out of there.
After seeing the gorillas and the elephants, we headed for the bus stop. Both on the way to the zoo and going home, we watched helplessly as our bus passed by 50 yards away as we were making our way to the stop. So we had to wait. We went into the new little grocery just north of the park. We got some M&Ms and the woman working the till gave Estella and Blaise a little toy each.
We were a bit wet, but had fun. Blaise was very good and happy the whole time. Estella seemed upset only about having to go through the night exhibit with the bats.

Jonathan -- This is a darling picture of Darling Estella. I remember when I was a little girl and would take the "sreet car" and wishing the next stop would be the one to get off. We didn't have buses then. Your stories are so neat!!! You should write children stories about real life!!!!! We love you all 4!----- Gaba and Papa
