Ancestors

Frank_Bentley_Lincoln_High.jpg

Blaise and Estella will have a whole 'nother set of ancestors that are mine "only" as in-laws. Here is Robyn's grandpa, (the kids' great grandpa) Frank Bentley, as a boy. I wonder what Blaise will look like as a young man in high school.

Blaise,
Your great-grandpa Frank Bentley was a wonderful man. From poverty, but with a strong faith in God, he became a committed church leader, civic leader, and raised a beautiful family. He worked for the same grocery company for over 40 years. He married his beautiful high school sweetheart, Olga Hagen, and they had 3 boys and 1 girl. Your grandpa Rod Bentley has wonderful memories of growing up with horses, peacocks, and beautiful flower gardens that your Grandma Olga tended. Frank and Olga were the ultimate gracious dinner party entertainers in their beautiful home. She would cook fabulous meals, and he always praised her. Your great-grandpa had a wonderful gregarious outgoing personality. Blaise, I want you to have that same faith in God, knowing that with Him beside you, you can be strong and you will be blessed. I sense with your beautiful smile and sweet personality already, that you will have your great-grandpa's optimism and personality. We love you, Estella, and your Mom and Dad!

That is a neat picture. Enjoy every day, because it will be before you know it, that Blaise will be a young man in high school. It is fun to watch him grow and change. He is sooo handsome and such a sweet personality. We love you all mom and dad
