The Doctor Is In

With her doctor kit ready, she makes her morning rounds on her stuffed animals, dolls, brother, mom and dad. She leaves as quickly as she appears, parting with excuses about other patients. She snagged the face mask from her visit to the hospital to see her great grandma.

Standing Shorty

The little guy has really started to like flexing his leg muscles. With support on his sides, he loves to stand. He bounces and wobbles, but he is getting good exercise and practice. Here he is showing off his toughness (or my foolishness) by standing up against me. He is only about 50 inches shorter than me.
He has been liking the standing for about 3 weeks at least and being carried facing front since grandpa held him on Thanksgiving.

Estella's Sayings
"That not an idea" means that isn't a good idea.
"I take a shallow" means I want to take a shower.

Rainy Windy Cold

It has been blustery, wet, cold weather. The walk from the bus to the office in the morning leaves my feet wet.
Blaise is such an easy little man to take care of. His cries always seem to have a simple cure. That means he is not a whiner, his cries always mean something, like "Change me!", "You aren't paying attention to me!" or "Rock me to sleep!" He isn't high maintenance; he is content to lie on his back and watch you do the dishes. He is a big fan, as was Estella, of the front facing hold. He likes to see what is going on. If he can't, he swings his head back and forth.
After all I just said, I forgot to mention that he sometimes wakes up at 4AM and I have to go in and replace the binky every 20 minutes until 6:30AM when Estella wakes up. I guess that is high maintenance.
One morning at about 4AM while I was replacing the little guy's pacifier, I hear Estella say, "My bed brokem." Turning, I find her sitting up with her blankets all piled up at the end of the bed. She's right, the bed is supposed to keep her cozy and in that respect it had "brokem". I asked her if it was the covers and she said yeah and laid back down so I could cover her up. She went right back to sleep.
I've probably already mentioned that Estella dries of with a "towlel" and visits Gaba at the "hospitital".
