Holding The Monkey

She is getting heavy, but I still prefer to hold her over pushing the stroller.

Frozen Splash

When she takes a bath she swims, splashes, blows bubbles and plays with either the running water, her toys or both. She gets very wet.

Snowday

Estella sleds on our snowday. For warmth she is wearing her Halloween costume Eeyore under her snowsuit. You can see the ear hanging in her face.
The snow began falling early this morning and by around 9am there was about 2 inches. We went on a walk to the toy store to pick up a potty training seat and then to Fred Meyer for some coffee. Estella rode half the way in the wagon and the other half in mama or dada's arms. On the way home we saw the park was crowded with kids sledding and dogs romping. The roads were covered and by the time we got back home there was about 4 inches of snow.
Our neighbor, Lex, let Estella use his sledding saucer and together they went down the alley hill. Later we met Lex at the park for more sledding. Estella just took it all in, laughing and cheering on the dogs and the sledders. We made a giant snowman and an igloo, by the time we were done it was just starting to rain after dusk had settled in. Estella was afraid of going in the igloo, I should have cut some windows.

She had a wonderful day playing in the snow, napping, eating, etc. Dinner time was spent in a big chair on her knees which she insists - no highchair today. She reorganized some kitchen items and played a bit, followed by 6 books which she pointed to asking for "bout" and saying "hepme" to get on my lap. After that, I layed her down and she went to sleep all by herself.
