Who She Thinks

Here's mama and baby meeting me at Greenlake after work on a chilly fall afternoon.
I don't know who she thinks she is. Doesn't she realize I am her father?!!? Today at the toy store and Fred Meyer she was very adamant about what she wanted. She fought me holding her everytime she saw something she liked. She wanted to rip open the toy packages to get at the toys and grunted and whined when I pulled her away. She wanted to sit on the bicycles?! And play on a skateboard. And carry around a backpack. And play in a cabinet in the furniture section. And roll all over the floor clutching a nerf soccer ball. She did not let me look at shoes in peace, nor did she have patience for browsing the garden department.
She had fun with her aunt and grandma and grandpa on both sides this weekend.
Who does she think she is to wake up at 6am and expect to play and laugh and cry and eat and give hugs? Who I ask!

Hi Jonathan---- Thanks so much for the great pictures of our DARLING Great Granddaughter. She is adorable!!!! Thank you so much Robyn for bringing her by to see us yesterday. After not seeing her for a month we were afraid she might not come to us---but she did!!. She was so cute here and sooooo much fun to watch!!!! I read your Mom`s comment and I do remember the shopping trip in Hawaii that she was talking about! You were so adorable---just like Darling Estella and you certainly knew what you wanted!!!!! And it was a push toy popper like your Mom said. And you wanted that toy in the world`s worse way. And you let us all know that you really wanted it. You were pretty cute!!!!! And now you are a great Daddy!!!! It is so neat to be able to see you and Robyn with your Darling Estella. We love looking at the pictures and love to read your stories!!!! Sorry I don't comment as much as mom does, I do look at the website every (I repeat) everyday! I was fun to see you three this weekend. Estella is going to be a strong-willed toddler just like you were! Thanks for tirelessly keeping the website up with new pictures so often! I have told so many people about the website!

Hi Jonathan !
We were excited to see more incredible pictures. What you said about Estella when you were in the store reminds me of you when we took you shopping at Christmas with Gaba and Papa when you were 15 months old. You wanted a paticular toy, I am sure Gaba remembers which one. I think it was a pop corn popper(push toy) ! You were so much like her. I love to read your comments Jonathan.
It was so fun to be able to come over to the Bentley's with you all. Thanks for inviting us. Great company and a great dinner. We love you !!! Mom
