Reaching, Growing
Estella shows strong determination, lately, in play. Her unique personality can be seen in her behavior and her own will is evident more and more.

Here she is reaching for a toy. It is pretty awesome to witness her rapid change from infant to baby - and soon to little girl. Now, she seems even more interested in all that she experiences. She regularily goes on walks where she is calm and observant for up to and over an hour.

Play time can last as long as she has energy. She gently lets you know when she is tired and if you are real perceptive you can get her from play to rest to sleep without even a whimper. Often, after a long walk or a playful bath, she goes down to sleep quite happily as if she was waiting on you for her cozy bed.

Always, though, after she has fallen asleep, I check on her. By putting my cheek against hers and listening, I can hear her breathe and feel her warmth and her soft skin and baby hair. Ahhhh...
Oh, by the way, the Christmas lights are up.
