Estella's Too Quick
Little baby Estella is quite rapidly becoming a toddler.

The supply detail has issued her a new batch of diapers and larger size clothing. From her end of things we hear more cooing, see her holding her head up strongly, sticking one or both hands in her mouth, bubbles, sleeping through the night, smiling, etc.
The pace of change is exceedingly fast and moments, even those I consciously soak up, are fleeting. Just a month ago, I held a lightweight, skinny newborn and today I look into the big, round, inquisitive eyes of a 4 pound heavier baby who knows I am her Dada.
She needs a lot of loving attention, each moment of which is very rewarding. Her smiles are small treasures and her squeeks and squeals are adorable. She is simply lovely. Tonight when I kissed her goodnight, she let out a little baby girl sigh - painfully precious.
I love everything she does (except when she pees on me), especially these two things. One of them is a funny embarrassed smile that she pulls when I talk right at her, give her tummy a tickle and smile at her. She smiles sheepishly and looks away as if she were shy. Quite possibly the funniest, most precious string of Estella events is when she wakes up. If you have a chance watch this process. It is so wonderful. Remember, for Estella sleeping is hard work; she is growing. That is why she has to stretch so much.
