My Baby And Me

Dad and baby got some bonding time last night. Initially Estella was having a grand old time, hanging out with dear old dad.
But then the bottom lip started to quiver and a second later...WHAA! After the theatrics, she settled down and we took a walk around the yard, I talked and sang to her and she eventually fell asleep. That lasted almost long enough for momma to get home.
The other night, Estella was showing us her new roll over trick when she paused for a while. Totally content, she just started lounging, propped up on her elbows, head high just looking around.

Okay...I have to say that until this picture I have only been able to see Daddy in this little tot, but this face definitely says Mommy!!

Hi Jonathan and Robyn,
This picture of Estella Faith is my favorite baby pose. I like the pose (no clothes, but with blanket is perfect) because it captures her pretty face and body straight on. I think you would enjoy taking one like this every month as she grows, since it seems you're into taking pictures:-)
It's hard to believe she is already propping herself up like this, and that she will be 2 months old on August 5th. WOW! We love that you are enjoying Estella, because she will grow up fast.

Estella is sooooo cute!! she is sooo strong. Believe me I know what you mean when you say that you have to be there to really see how cute she is. Pictures are amazing, but you wish you could share the moments with everyone. Thanks for at least sharing this with us. We think you three are pretty special and we are grateful to God for you. We love you Mom and Dad
