House closed and a students wisdom
Well the house closed?!? Is that proper? The deal went through?? Whatever happened, today we got keys to a little house in Greenwood. Yesterday we signed about 50 pages worth of documents at the escrow business. Today we are homeowners. Yipee!
In other news, Robyn just got through telling the staff and students of Wedgwood Elementary that she is pregnant. The interest and comments from the kids is quite a kick. One boy, a second grader, came up to her and told her that when she has to go to the hospital to "be brave, cause it really hurts." Other kids wonder if the baby is growing okay. One kid stated that when a baby comes out it is still connected to your belly button and the doctor has to cut the connection. A little boy told her that when he came out he was all bloody. It is funny because some of these kids are only 5 years old. Some of the girls got to wondering a bit much, "...where does the baby come out from, Mrs. C?" It is so cute to hear all their innocent curiosities and concerns...

When she told me that tonight about how the boy said it "really hurts" I thought just for a second that the beautiful face so calmly and cheerfully talking to me would probably be fatigued, in pain and yelling at me during delivery in just about 6 months. Wow. I don't know if I am ready!

Hi that was a cute note!! I wish I had written down all the cute things you all said. And we can hardly believe that you both ( and hopefully us ) will be in a delivery room in about 6 months!!! We are so excited for you. Robyn will be OK and the verse I like to remember is John 16:21 " Whenever a woman is in travail she has sorrow, because her hour has come: but when she gives birth to the child, she remembers the anguish no more, for the joy that a child has been born into the world!!" So So this is from the God who created you. " It is a comfort to the soul to consider God's glory, majesty,dominion, and power: for this is the ground of our respect to him and that which encourages us in our service. We need not be ashamed to serve him to whom ALL glory and power and majesty and dominion belong" ( this is from nov 30 from that devotional with the Bible that john Guest gave you. I hope you are taking 5 min. to read it daily. " without food it is impossible to sustain physical life. Without truth, it is impossible to sustain spiritual life. The nourishing truth of God's Word will help you grow daily into the likeness of the one who is "the truyh" Jesus Christ John 14:6 The cleansing,strengthening truth of God: Feed on it daily and watch how life-giving it can be for uou!
