The mind is a terrible thing to waste and so interesting
Local scientist John Medina, Ph.D has started an interesting research endeavor called the The Talaris Research Institute. They are studying the actual logic by which brains learn and process. This article on the development of the infant brain is quite intriguing. It seems that language has a lot to do with general perception.
I went to a class at UPC tonight entitled Christian Faith in an Age of Skepticism and Uncertainty: Exploration of the Dynamics of Belief and Unbelief. Very, very interesting and provocative. Anyway, next week John Medina is talking about Skepticism and Science.
